Issaquah Movers for Townhomes, Hillside Homes & Condos

Few Eastside cities are as vertical as this one. The Highlands and Talus sit high on the hillsides, many townhomes stack three floors of living space over a garage, and Squak and Cougar Mountain roads wind up from the valley floor. Puget Sound Moving sends crews from our Bellevue office on 156th Ave NE, a short drive east on I-90.

We’re a locally owned, family-owned company founded in Seattle in 2009. Every mover is a full-time, background-checked Puget Sound Moving employee, and there are no stair fees, so a three-story townhome costs you time, not a surcharge.

Our Issaquah moving services include townhome and condo moves, family homes in Olde Town and on the hillsides, moves over Snoqualmie Pass to Eastern Washington, long distance relocation, packing, storage, and senior moves.

Here’s why customers choose our moving company:

  • Our own crews: every mover is a full-time, background-checked employee. No subcontractors or day laborers.
  • 7-day availability: weekday and weekend moves, with short-notice dates often open.
  • Transparent pricing: no stair fees, elevator fees, or fuel surcharges on any moving job.
  • Building-ready: elevator reservations and certificates of insurance handled for you.
  • 48-hour damage guarantee: report damage within 48 hours and we repair or replace it.
  • Packing & storage: full or partial packing, plus short- and long-term options.
  • Licensed: USDOT #1885649 and WUTC HG #063541.

Moving in Issaquah: What Our Movers Plan For

Three-story townhomes

Issaquah townhomes in the Highlands and Talus often have narrow stairs and tight landings between floors. We bring the right size crew, take apart beds and large pieces, and protect railings and door frames on every level.

Hillside roads and tight parking

Steep streets, cul-de-sacs, and shared driveways decide where a truck can park. We plan the spot before moving day so the crew isn’t searching for it on the clock.

Over the pass on I-90

Moves from Issaquah to Ellensburg, Yakima, or the Tri-Cities are over 55 miles, so they’re priced by weight and mileage instead of by the hour. We’ll explain how it works before you book.

Between homes or downsizing

If your new place isn’t ready, we can store your things in solid wood vaults in a temperature-controlled facility and deliver when you are, or pick up from a storage unit you already rent.

Need an Issaquah Moving Company on Short Notice?

When dates shift, call early in the day if you can. Crews work seven days a week, short-notice dates are often available, and a move coordinator usually responds within two hours during business hours.

Our offices in Bellevue, Seattle, Kent, Tukwila, and Tacoma let us move you from Issaquah anywhere in the Puget Sound region, across the Cascades, or to another state.

Frequently Asked Questions About Moving in Issaquah

Which office sends movers to Issaquah?

Our Bellevue office at 2018 156th Ave NE schedules Issaquah moves, and crews come from there along I-90. We don’t have an office in Issaquah itself.

How do you price a move to Eastern Washington?

Moves over 55 miles within Washington are priced by weight and mileage. The truck is weighed empty and again full, and the difference sets the weight.

Will a three-story townhome cost more?

There are no stair fees. More stairs mean the move takes longer, and we build that into your estimate so there are no surprises.

Can you pick up from my storage unit?

Yes. We can pick up from an existing storage unit, POD, or container and deliver to your new home, or move it into our storage until you’re ready.

What can’t go on the truck?

Hazardous materials like gasoline, propane, paint, and aerosols. We also can’t disconnect gas lines, so please disconnect washers and fridges with water lines before we arrive.

Do you help with senior moves?

Yes. We work at a patient pace, move only the pieces chosen for the new home, coordinate with retirement and assisted-living communities, and set up the bed first.
