Moving Into Retirement or Assisted Living
Retirement and assisted living communities usually have their own move-in rules, such as set hours, a reserved elevator, or a specific entrance. We work with the community’s staff ahead of time so move day goes smoothly for you and your new neighbors.
We set up the bed first so the room is ready to live in that night, then reassemble furniture and place each piece where you want it.

Yes. Many senior moves are arranged by an adult child or other family member. We’ll keep you and your parent informed throughout.
Can you move items to more than one place?
Yes. We can deliver to a new home, a storage unit, and family members’ homes as part of the same move.
Will you set up furniture at the new place?
Yes. We reassemble beds and furniture and place each piece where you want it.
How much notice do you need?
Two to four weeks is ideal, but short-notice senior moves are often possible. One customer called us to clear a family member’s assisted living apartment on about a week’s notice.
